City submits $15 mil bid for Malibu Performing Arts Center
The property is up for auction. By Olivia Damavandi / Staff Writer In its ongoing search for a permanent city hall, the City of Malibu last week submitted a $15 million bid for the Malibu Performing Arts Center, which will be auctioned June 15 as part of bankruptcy proceedings by property owner Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Malibu.

Impending delays from traffic upgrades Commuters should anticipate delays beginning June 1, when Pepperdine University is scheduled to begin work to upgrade road and traffic signals at Civic Center Way and Malibu Canyon Road, as stated in a press release issued by the City of Malibu last week. The project will continue through July 24, and traffic controls will be present from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on various days during the construction.

Day 77
Today we decided that camping would be a good idea so headed off to walmart to buy some camping gear We got loaded up with camping stuff bbq’s and beer and headed to a beach that we knew just north of Malibu. We got up and packed early to avoid being fined for a late check and then headed to LAX to collect our SUV for the week we couldn’t handle public transport again after the last episodeIt took about 3 hours to get to the airport to collect the car but when we arrived it was great We had a choice of about 30 different cars and chose the top spec Dodge Grand a 7 seater.
